Legal Assistant/Office Manager

We have an immediate opening for a Legal Assistant/Office Manager to join our growing team. This is a vital role in which the successful candidate will be in charge of greeting/serving clients and prospective clients; supporting attorneys; and managing the law office.

What will you be doing?

  • Client intake/follow-up
  • Client onboarding
  • Client communications
  • Time/billing
  • Email management
  • Electronic filing system
  • Office filing system
  • Draft letters, memos, agreements, legal pleadings, correspondence
  • General administrative assistance, such as scanning/copying/processing incoming and outgoing mail

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-5 years of experience as an administrative assistant (preferably in a law firm or in a corporate legal department), legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work accurately, with interruptions
  • Good organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently but more importantly as part of a team
  • Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment and discretion
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Must be very positive and confident
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Highly proficient in MS Word (including formatting and other tools), Excel, cloud-based applications, e-filing (Dropbox and Google Drive), and email functions
  • Experience with case management/billing software and applications
  • Strong grammar, spelling and math skills
  • Strong proofreading skills on paper as well as on the computer
  • Understanding of attorney/client language and vocabulary
  • Working knowledge of the Court system
  • Family Law/Estate Planning/Probate experience a plus
  • Marketing background a plus
  • Comfortable working with Apple computers

Part-time Marketing Assistant/Marketing Intern

We are looking for an innovative Marketing Assistant to manage our digital marketing campaigns and our traditional marketing efforts. Our ideal candidate loves marketing, is detail oriented and has a strong sense of urgency and professionalism.

What will you be doing?

  • Schedule and coordinate all firm events
  • Write and post blogs, social media posts and articles
  • Manage email campaigns and follow-up
  • Create video and image-based content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Help identify specific content and opportunities to enhance engagement on social media accounts
  • Contribute to promotional ideas that engage the Firm’s audience in an authentic, relevant way
  • Conduct research projects as needed such as competitive analysis and trend reports
  • Support the planning and execution of branded events
  • Assist with brand photo/video shoots
  • Provide advance and onsite support for virtual and in-person events
  • Update and maintain email & contact lists
  • General administrative duties
  • Track all PNC to CLIENT conversion metrics
  • Track all marketing and advertising metrics
  • Monitor, suggest, and create website changes
  • Monitor social media activity
  • Maintain database of referral sources
  • Other marketing projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge of social media and passion for creating content across platforms to increase brand awareness and drive sales
  • Digital marketing knowledge and/or experience
  • Savvy tech & computer skills - we use Apple products
  • Experience with Canva, Photoshop, Wordpress, social media scheduling, and video editing software
  • MS office, Google applications, Keynote
  • Creative mind, organized self-starter with high attention to detail
  • Must be proactive and resourceful with the ability to solve problems
  • Works well independently and in a fast paced environment
  • Actively pursuing college degree, recent graduate, and those seeking career transition.

Time Commitment

  • Part-time; varies. 12-20 hours/week
